Brides is looking for a highly motivated content editor who will relish the opportunity to play a key role in the imminent relaunch of the Brides website. Reporting to the Editor of Brides, you will work across several platforms including the website, mobile, social media and the magazine and will therefore need to be a strong team player.

Some of your key responsibilities will be to:

  • Maintain and update BridesMagazine.co.uk on a daily basis with all the latest news, offering brides-to-be endless inspiration.
  • Secure and maintain strong contacts within the bridal world with designers, prs, florists, cake makers, planners etc to ensure that we are their top priority for all news releases.
  • Write accurate and entertaining copy on everything from wedding canapés to product reviews and wedding dresses, all to tight deadlines.
  • Sourcing imagery and producing them for digital consumption. An inherent understanding of what makes content shareable and potentially viral, and a good grasp of the wider news agenda and how to find a bridal angle, is crucial.
  • Develop and implement traffic growth strategies and be aware of traffic targets and KPIs.
  • Grow the brand's following across various social media channels including Facebook, Twitter, Google+, Instagram, Pinterest and Vine.
  • Repurpose magazine content, using appropriate SEO.
  • Plan, build and send weekly newsletters.

You will work with the Director of Video Content to manage the production infrastructure of Condé Nast UK - responsible for running production across all publications and ensuring that the systems are in place so that productions run smoothly, meet deadlines, stay within budgets, are staffed appropriately, are safe and are legally compliant.

You will closely monitor schedules, approve all budgets, manage and write contracts, write and approve all risk assessments and approve all call sheets. It is essential that you have a comprehensive understanding of cost managers and cost reports for which you will be solely responsible for and report on. Additionally, you will need to provide any contingencies during pre-production and shooting, and prepare workable alternative plans.

Required Qualifications/Skills:

  • Experienced within production and substantial experience in contract writing and negotiating
  • Comfortable with amending/revising contracts without legal guidance
  • Experience of managing Million £+ budgets as well as being comfortable managing small budgets and achieving great content with minimal spend
  • Experience of working in TV and for online platforms with a comprehensive understanding of video content processes for TV shows/films with brands/clients

This is a key strategic position responsible for setting up and managing the commercial division of the video department at Condé Nast UK. Together with the Director of Video Content you will define and execute a strategy to commercialise the Condé Nast editorial video strategy across all of the Condé Nast publications.

You will be responsible for helping build readership across Condé Nast's portfolio of digital brands including Wired, Ars Technica, GQ, Vogue, on desktop, tablet and mobile. Primary Job Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Head of Analytics to monitor & analyse digital readership across the full Condé Nast UK portfolio.
  • Design, implement, test, measure and refine strategies to grow our digital readership. This will include:
    • A/B testing of promotional activity via the ad server (DFP)

Must-have qualities:

  • An innate interest in learning about reader behaviour through both quantitative and qualitative data.
  • Strong understanding of mathematics and statistics.
  • Advanced / Level 2-3 Excel knowledge and experience
  • Experience with creating Optimizely campaigns or comparable software. You should have sufficient skill with HTML/CSS/JS editing to complete this work with confidence and with minimal supervision.

Overview    

Responsible for sales of delegate places to attend the upcoming 2 conferences for the WIRED portfolio: WIRED Health (24th April) and WIRED Money (beginning July).

Key responsibilities

  • Helping to plan and implementing the delegate sales strategy across WIRED Health and WIRED Money and continually selling the portfolio of WIRED events to interested delegates
  • Conducting new delegate list research and update and enhance the databases accordingly
  • Report delegate sales achieved (and tactics employed) accurately and promptly for weekly reports
  • Telesales all previous delegates to encourage event attendance

Glamour's Promotions department, newly rebranded as Glamour Bespoke, is seeking a talented junior designer with strong print and digital design skills to support the team's new Lead Designer. The UK International Permissions team facilitates the exchange of material within Condé Nast; coordinating with Condé Nast titles around the world to provide original British material to other titles within the Condé Nast umbrella, thereby providing a range of benefits to the group as a whole.

This role involves processing information regarding copyright, costs and image data for individual features and contributors. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Working with key stakeholders, plan, create, manage and execute segmented email communications to drive both print and digital edition subscription acquisition (both solus and integrated with wider marketing campaigns)
  • Develop and implement welcome series/CRM programmes to maximise subscriber engagement and retention. Integrate trigger email campaigns throughout the customer lifecycle to maximise response.
  • Manage subscriptions database - liaise with suppliers to optimise data feeds, ensure data protection compliance, analyse data to optimise segmentation/customise customer experience and identify opportunities for data enhancements to improve the quality of insight available/campaign response rates.
  • Optimise use of company-wide database to drive subscriptions - working with internal stakeholders to schedule and integrate appropriate marketing/re-permission email campaigns through all areas of the business.
  • Develop A/B testing strategy, analyse, report and act on relevant campaign metrics.
  • Ensure all email campaigns comply with current industry and internal email best practices - ranging from data protection to personalisation and optimisation for mobile to improve response.

SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS

The ideal candidate will have a unique mix of creative and analytical ability with email /online marketing experience and strong organisational and communication skills:

  • Highly analytical with proven ability to interpret, analyse and translate customer insight data and campaign results into actionable marketing plans.
  • Extensive experience of customer database marketing at key user level - analysing, selecting and exporting data using variable criteria (using FastStats or similar software).
  • 2-3 years of demonstrated success in developing, executing, analysing and reporting on campaigns through email and other online marketing channels including social media.
  • A creative mind with an eye for design and good email copywriting skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills with an ability to prioritise, work under pressure to  tight deadlines and manage a large number of campaigns at once.
  • Basic HTML /ability to use software (e.g. Photoshop) to resize and replace images is expected.
  • Confident working with an ESP (e.g. Adestra) and with reporting tools.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills
