The Human Resources Department at Condé Nast Publications is seeking an intern to provide quality HR and recruitment administrative support on a daily basis. The HR intern will be mentored by one of our HR Business Partners who will assist their learning during their time with us.

The HR intern will learn and assist with the following:

  • Answering the phones and relaying messages
  • Preparing and processing weekly timesheets for temporary payroll
  • Assisting the Talent Acquisition Specialist with general administration including CV vetting and candidate feedback
  • Supporting the HR Administrator with new starter contracts and collecting right to work documentation

Key Skills & Experience:

The ideal candidate will have completed or is working towards a CIPD (Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development) qualification (or equivalent), have a keen interest in Human Resources and be willing to work with HR professionals at all levels. Candidates need to be extremely discreet due to confidential information, be approachable and have the ability to be firm when needed.

Proficient skills in MS Office packages including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook are essential. Experience using ADP HR.net (Condé Nast HRIS) would be a bonus but is not essential.

   Senior Strategist - 242

 

The Video & Production department is seeking a Senior Strategist to work under the Commercial Director of Video to plan, strategize and deliver engaging branded content for clients that increases the reputation and visibility of Condé Nast's new video offering, across all publications.

As Senior Strategist you will operate alongside other members of the Team to create content driven pitches that form part of an overall client plan. In this role you will develop and execute Condé Nast's clients overall digital content strategies in two ways.

  • Primary (80%): Your focus will be on interrogating briefs and developing content-led responses. For these responses, you will work with the content team to develop ideas, audience insights, social participation methods, and distribution strategies. You will be working closely with creative producers and the Director of Video Content. You will also be responsible for tracking the project along its lifespan & ensuring each project is wrapped with a conclusive, impressive case study. In this role you will assist a range of clients, in exploring the various avenues for creating engaging content for new and existing audiences. 
  • Secondary (20%): In collaboration with the content team, you will compile content-led brand pitches that can be archived and utilised retroactively. 

You will have proven experience within the branded content world. You will have worked across many branded campaigns - with video content specifically. A good understanding of the fashion and culture industries is preferable. You must be able to prepare thoughtful and style-led proposals and be able to work across multiple projects & clients simultaneously. You are diligent, thorough and strategy-led in your approach.

Ideally you have client facing & pitch-based experience and can handle working around ever-shifting deadlines. This role is very exciting for the right person.

The newly created Video & Production department are seeking a Creative Producer for GQ Magazine. You will be a key member of the Video & Production team, responsible for leading the production of GQ video content of extremely high creative standards, which leads, enhances, builds and develops GQ's reputation in video.  You will work with and support the Director of Video Content and the GQ Editorial team to commission and produce editorial videos.

The suitable candidate will have previous experience in producing editorial and branded content and be comfortable writing presentations and treatments to communicate the GQ video ideas and plans. You will have managed shoot budgets and expenditure for your previous productions to a commercial level. You will also be calm, diligent and extremely conscientious with the ability to diffuse any problematic productions. Condé Nast are excited to advertise the new opportunity of a Senior Test Analyst to join the new and innovative  Marketing team. The technical development team is responsible for the CN Commerce customer facing websites across Desktop, Tablet and Mobile and the integration of our systems with third parties. We are looking for a test analyst to help us build new systems and product enhancements to our customers.

Testing is an integral part of our development process. We work in a highly collaborative agile (Scrum) environment where testers are expected to contribute to planning, stand-ups, showcases and retrospectives. The successful candidate will analyse user stories and, working alongside business analysts and developers, formulate and execute acceptance tests. The position is within a small but specialised test team and therefore you will be expected to work with a dedicated agile team where you could be the only tester. The successful candidate will demonstrate skills such as being creative, technically aware, highly skilled at testing, and driven towards continuous improvement.  

Essential Experience Required:

  • Extensive eCommerce testing experience, ideally in the retail sector
  • Functional system level testing of web-based enterprise applications and services
  • Exposure to working in an Agile (Scrum) development environment
  • Broad understanding of web technologies particularly those used for client-side development (eg. HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Ajax)
