GQ is seeking a Design Assistant Intern to join its award-winning art desk on a six-month, fixed-term basis. Condé Nast Traveller's hugely successful website CNTraveller.com is looking for an enthusiastic intern to support the busy editorial team.

Working alongside the team in the offices of Britain's best luxury travel magazine, you will learn how to use our content management system and publish content online directly to CNTraveller.com.

You will be responsible for uploading content from Condé Nast Traveller magazine each month, creating online versions of the news and features, as well as writing and reporting on optimum SEO terms. You may also have to cover the tasks of the social media intern in their absence.

Our site features several different ways to display features online, so you will have a good eye for images and design, as well as a love of travel journalism.

There will occasionally be the chance to write content for the website, so the job is good for someone who wants to gain editorial experience within a successful consumer-facing travel environment. Please note that travel is not part of the role.

The successful candidate should be able to prove knowledge of Condé Nast Traveller magazine and have an active interest in online travel journalism, demonstrated via a travel blog or other published travel writing. You will be a recent graduate and looking to build experience on your CV.

Condé Nast Traveller's hugely successful website CNTraveller.com is looking for an enthusiastic intern with ambitions in social media and digital marketing.

Working alongside the online editorial team in the offices of Britain's best luxury travel magazine, you will learn and then co-ordinate the output of our extensive social media channels.

You will write, schedule and publish tweets, Facebook posts, Pinterest boards and Instagram images to our hugely successful social media streams which reach around 400,000 luxury travel fans each day. You may also be required to write some content for the site itself, and to cover the tasks of the online editorial intern in their absence.

You will reach out and collaborate with other digital partners to maximise traffic
to the CNTraveller.com website, and will report on success. You will be able to
deliver creative ideas for hashtags, piggy-backing trending topics and be confident in creating bespoke Pinterest boards. You will understand the need of
our social media channels to reflect the Condé Nast Traveller brand, and as such have a good knowledge of the magazine and website.

You will be taught how to use social media publishing and reporting software, but be expected to already have extensive experience of using various forms of
social media, either your own or for a group or organisation.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate extensive knowledge and
experience of using social media, and an interest in luxury travel. Please note
that travel is not part of the role.

VOGUE is looking for an enthusiastic, well-organised assistant to work with the Fashion Bookings Editor on the production of all VOGUE's Fashion shoots. 

Working as part of the Fashion Department, the ideal candidate will have a keen interest in the nuts and bolts of shoot production, be reliable, methodical, calm and able to think laterally about the challenges of producing a VOGUE shoot on time and within budget, whilst having a pathological attention to detail.

A knowledge of and interest in travel would be a bonus as the research and booking of flights, hotels and visas is a key part of the role.  Candidates should be numerate, have some experience in production, and be happy working under pressure and to deadlines. A Commissioning Editor is required for VOGUE's busy Features Department.

Reporting to the Features Editor, the successful candidate will generate original ideas for both the magazine and website and will see them through from pitch to page, to deadline and on budget with particular oversight of the VOGUE Arts pages.

The ideal candidate should know what's happening in the worlds of film, TV, art, literature, celebrity and theatre - before anyone else does and be passionate about fine writing and great photography.

This role requires a strong team player - liaising across VOGUE Editorial but in particular with the Art and Fashion departments, helping to shape visual content of features pages. He/she will be a charming and persuasive fixer, on the telephone with international talent agents and happily deputise for Senior Editors in their absence and attend events for VOGUE. 

Skill set:

  • Experience commissioning writers and editing features stories, ideally either for a national newspaper or monthly magazine.
  • Great contacts and a passion for magazines, visual culture and fine writing.
  • Experience generating editorial ideas.
  • Be able to work to short deadlines and keep to budgets.
  • An interest in fashion and style.
  • Confident arts/features writer, although please note that writing is not a major part of this role.

Baku magazine is looking for an experienced, highly skilled and creative chief sub-editor for a 12-month maternity cover from July 2015. The quarterly title, published by Condé Nast Contract Publishing, covers art, fashion, culture and lifestyle. Applicants should have held the position of chief sub-editor on a major glossy magazine or national newspaper. As a master of multi-tasking, the successful candidate will have a sharp eye for spotting errors, the ability to come up with dynamic and original heads and sells, as well as the talent to put a spin on flat copy. Combining organisational skills with pin-point accurate editing, the chief sub-editor will be expected to run the magazine's quarterly production schedule smoothly and to deadline. Besides the obvious technical subbing know-how ­- being fully adept on InDesign is a must -­ Baku's chief sub-editor must have the confidence to chase copy and proofs effectively, liaise with the art department to ensure smooth and timely flow of layouts, and manage a freelance sub-editor during each production period.

As part of this small but dedicated team, the chief sub-editor will also be expected to contribute to regular editorial meetings and work on any related special projects as they arise. A knowledge and passion for contemporary art, culture and fashion would be a bonus, as would fluency in Russian and Turkic languages.

WIRED is offering an editorial internship beginning in May at its central London office on a paid, six-month fixed-term basis. This presents a rare and valuable opportunity to participate in magazine production, online reporting and conference curation at the highest level. The successful candidate will also be offered the chance to continue her or his relationship with WIRED by contributing to the magazine and website on a freelance basis. Previous WIRED editorial interns have gone on to attain full-time positions at VICE, The Independent and New Statesman, amongst others.

The editorial intern will be actively involved in generating ideas for all of WIRED's sections, writing items as required, researching and fact-checking, liaising with contributors, conducting and transcribing interviews,and performing other tasks across the brand's many digital platforms and events programme as required.We are looking for an energetic, driven individual who can show evidence of being committed to journalism as a career. Candidates must also demonstrate a close familiarity with the magazine and understand its particular editorial and design requirements. A passion for technology, science and culture is an absolute must. Knowledge of publishing systems, Adobe InDesign and InCopy is advantageous. Experience writing original copy for a print or online publication is, naturally, also preferable, though not essential.

  • Sourcing top-quality imagery for all sections of the magazine, negotiating rates, getting approvals, writing captions & credits, managing tight budgets and ensuring the magazine comes in under budget 
  • Producing every aspect of all photo shoots (except main fashion stories) from booking travel, organising catering, sourcing locations, to booking the stylist

The newly created Video & Production department are seeking a Creative Producer for GQ Magazine. You will be a key member of the Video & Production team, responsible for leading the production of GQ video content of extremely high creative standards, which leads, enhances, builds and develops GQ's reputation in video.  You will work with and support the Director of Video Content and the GQ Editorial team to commission and produce editorial videos.

PR Manager - 1803/PRM

Condé Nast International is the leading luxury and lifestyle publisher operating in 27 markets across the world, with a portfolio of some of the most iconic media brands including Vogue, GQ, Glamour and Vanity Fair. We are now looking for a public relations trailblazer, who will play a key role in our new ground breaking e-commerce business.

Reporting to the Head of PR & Communications, the PR Manager will drive and deliver the Public Relations strategy internationally, implement day to day product placement and fashion news stories in all key media. You will leverage your strong relationships with key media, including dailies, weeklies, monthlies and online as well as create new relationships and bring new media contacts on an on-going basis

We are looking for someone who will be able to bring passion and innovative thinking to create successful PR events, as well as research, write and edit press material.

A day in the life fo a PR Manager:

  • Drive and deliver the Public Relations strategy internationally
  • Implement day to day product placement and fashion news stories in all key media
  • Support and execute PR events      
  • Research, write, edit press materials with attention to detail
  • Circulate press releases and other relevant PR matters
  • Strong relationships with key media, including dailies, weeklies, monthlies and online in order to generate more coverage and increasing traffic to the site.
  • Create new relationships and bring new media contacts on an on-going basis

Ideal Experience Required:

  • Strong team player with a natual passion for the role and somone who will embrace the start up enviroment
  • Previous experience in PR within the UK market working in consumer lifestyle/fashion sector.
  • Strong fashion media & influencer contacts (across print, broadcast, digital & social)    
  • Very creative with strong organizational skills
  • Able to create, develop and build strong relationships, both internal and external
